Grace | Spirit Labyrinth | June 2006

A service for Pentecost. A reduced version of the Chartres pattern labyrinth has been mown in the grass in front of the church. In the centre, people pray for one another to receive the Holy Spirit and anoint one another with oil.

While some walk the labyrinth, others listen to stories under a nearby tree.

When everyone has walked the labyrinth, we come together for prayer around the 'firewok'. Each person throws a pinch of incense into the fire as they pray.

This labyrinth has seven circuits instead of eleven.
