Labyrinth 1234
Occasional installation - no fixed venue

An interactive installation for spiritual journeys.

Labyrinths are marked out on the floor, but unlike a maze they have only one path. People walk the path slowly as a meditation or aid to prayer. This version was originally created for the south transept of St. Paul's Cathedral, London. It has 'stations' along the path which contain ritual activities to give shape to the journey. Participants are given a personal CD player and listen to the meditations, instructions and music on headphones as they walk, in their own soundworld.
