Opawa Baptist Church, 285 Wilsons Road, Christchurch, New Zealand Third Wednesday of each month 7.30pm This wonderful outdoor labyrinth was created in the carpark of Opawa Baptist Church, December 17th-24th 2001, open 8pm to midnight. Over 900 people visited it. The layout is based on the English version shown in the Labyrinth section of this site - but here realised in straw bales! The content is unique. Called 'A Christmas Journey', it traces the Christmas story through stages called: God of the universe So many people The long journey Angels and ordinary people At the stable Fragrant gifts Suffering of the innocents Desert experience And now...
